Renew Your PMI- ACP Certification
To maintain your PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, you must renew it every three years by fulfilling the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) set by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Renewal Requirements
Earn 30 PDUs (Professional Development Units):
You need to earn 30 PDUs within your 3-year certification cycle. These can be earned through learning, agile-related work experience, or contributing to the agile community. Activities may include attending agile workshops, webinars, courses, or volunteering.
Submit Your PDUs:
Log in to your PMI account and report your PDUs through the CCR Dashboard on PMI’s official website. Make sure to properly categorize each activity.
Pay the Renewal Fee:
Maintain Active Membership (Optional but Recommended):
Being a PMI member offers access to free webinars, discounted agile courses, publications, and tools that make earning PDUs and staying up to date with agile best practices easier.
You can start submitting PDUs at any time during your three-year PMI-ACP certification cycle. It’s recommended to complete all 30 PDUs before your cycle end date to avoid suspension or expiration of your certification.
