You’ll earn the required amount of Scrum Education Units to keep your CSM current, along with completion of renewal within the defined renewal window. This would keep the Certified Scrum Masters current on contemporary Scrum practices and emerging trends in Agile ways of working.
Renewal is a must, but Scrum Alliance also nudges learners toward ongoing study beyond the minimum. Regularly reviewing the Scrum Guide, attending Scrum events or webinars, engaging in Agile communities, and practicing Scrum within actual teams keeps knowledge fresh, practical, and relevant.
