A revoked status means Cisco has canceled or withdrawn your CCIE Security certification after it was issued. When your certification is revoked, you are no longer recognized as a CCIE Security–certified professional and cannot claim, present, or use the credential until the matter is formally resolved with Cisco.

Ethics or Code of Conduct Violation
Cisco may revoke the credential if a certified individual violates the Cisco Code of Ethics or professional conduct guidelines, including dishonesty, misconduct, or misrepresentation.

Providing falsified or misleading information during registration, recertification, or the exam process can result in immediate cancellation of the CCIE Security certification.
Cheating or Exam Misconduct

Failure to Maintain Certification
If the certificate holder does not complete the required recertification process within the two-year validity period, or does not meet Cisco continuing certification requirements, the CCIE Security credential can be removed.

If the Revocation Is Upheld
Permanent Loss of CCIE Security Certification
You will lose your CCIE Security certification or eligibility permanently in cases involving fraud or serious ethical violations.
You may be restricted from reapplying for a specific period or indefinitely, depending on the severity of the violation.
Your name will be removed from Cisco’s official list of active CCIE Security credential holders.
