Once revoked, you are no longer recognized as a CompTIA Security+ certified professional and cannot use or claim the credential on resumes, profiles, or verification systems. To regain eligibility, you must resolve the issue directly with CompTIA and, depending on the case, you may be required to reapply, submit additional documentation, or retake the Security+ exam.

Submit an Appeal:
If you believe the revocation was incorrect or based on inaccurate information, you may file a formal appeal. Ensure the appeal is submitted within the time limit stated in the notice.
Provide Supporting Evidence:
Prepare and submit proper documentation to support your case—such as communication records, training proof, identity verification, exam center logs, or any documents that help validate your compliance with CompTIA policies.
If the Revocation Is Upheld
You will lose your CompTIA Security+ certification or eligibility permanently in cases involving fraud, exam cheating, identity impersonation, or serious violations of CompTIA’s Candidate Code of Ethics. You may also be restricted from retaking the Security+ exam for a specific period or, in severe cases, barred indefinitely from pursuing CompTIA certifications.
